New Mural to adorn 4Way stop in Grayville

Pam House’s building at the 4-Way stop is getting a new mural painted on the side soon. House has hired Muralist Kristy Oakley to paint the mural on the West side of the Gendron II building next to the 4-way stop. The Nashville, Tn native was contacted and accepted the offer and is to come in two weeks to start the large art project.

Kristy’s breakthrough mural was when the Donelson-Hermitage Family YMCA commissioned her to paint a huge mural in its Olympic-size swimming pool. After that a career was born and it’s been a fun journey. “ I was never really trained to be an artist, I really think people get the talent naturally.” Oakley said.
