Randall Williams, 68, of Albion

Randall Williams, age 68 of Albion, passed away Thursday, March 4 at his residence after a valiant battle with cancer. Randy was born in Olney on Sept. 7, 1952 to Buford and Betty Lou (Kight) Williams. Randy married Donna Vaughan on Feb. 23, 1996 in Albion and she survives. Randy owned and operated Williams Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years. He could often be found outside riding his side by side, grilling anything edible, but his biggest enjoyment was teasing and playing tricks on his precious grandchildren. Randy was a proud Army Veteran who was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was a member of the Grayville Moose Lodge.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories are his wife, Donna; two daughters, Amy (Justin) Hoppmann of Cave Creek, Ariz. and Melissa (Joe) Smith of Peoria, Ariz., step-children, Lindsay (Cooper) Sutherland of Shiloh and Lincoln Judge of Olney; two brothers, Lonnie (Janet) Williams of Bone Gap and Rod (Patty) Williams of Browns; two sisters, Jennifer (David) Keifer and Becky (Donnie) Grimes, both of Albion; eight beloved grandchildren, Kamdyn and Adley Hoppmann, Kennedy Smith, Ayli Dunk, Arya and Kyle Sutherland, Brianna and Kali Judge, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Preceding Randy in death were his parents.
Graveside services, with military honors, for Randy Williams were held Monday, March 8 at Graceland Cemetery in Albion. Memorials may be made to the Edwards County Senior Citizens and will be accepted at the funeral home. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.nalesfuneralhome.com. Nale’s Funeral Home of Albion is in charge of the arrangements.
