A slow first half didn’t deter the Junior Bison of Grayville as they claimed a 10-point victory over Clay City last week.

Despite gaining an early advantage, the Grayville Boys Basketball squad dropped a matchup with fellow Midland Trail Conference team Christ Our Rock Lutheran last week.

On Saturday, the Edwards County Lions traveled to Bluford to take on the Webber Trojans. The Lions, missing juniors Kaden Cowling and Alex Calverley, beat the Trojans with a final score of 47–33.

The Edwards County Lions took on the Johnston City Indians Friday Feb. 19 and after almost a two week snow break, they came out ready to play some ball, but ultimately fell to the Indians with a final score of 55–40.

The Edwards County Girls Basketball squad had a rough senior night on Monday, dropping a bout to rival Hamilton County in Linda Oxby Gymnasium.

It was late last week that the Albion Grade School Baseball squad won a Regional championship and punched their ticket to state.

The Albion Grade School Baseballers jumped to an early 1–0 lead over Hamilton County Thursday afternoon and never looked back.

It was a truly explosive third inning that propelled the Albion Grade School Lions so far ahead of Norris City that they could never hope to catch up.

Despite a 22-point showing from senior Valero L’Abbate, The Grayville Basketball team could not overcome a strong Evansville Day team last week.

With three first place and three second place performances across their high school, middle school and elementary divisions, the Edwards County Archery team put together a strong showing at the Edwards County Regional over the weekend.

In a Midland Trail Conference matchup, the Basketball Bison of Grayville came up short against Cisne.
