Despite a potent fourth inning, the West Salem offense couldn’t overcome a nine-run effort by New Hope last week.

The Lady Warriors scored three runs in the fourth, but struggled to find their groove for much of the matchup. West Salem dropped the contest to New Hope, 9–4.

Eighth grader Aly Williams led the Warrior bats with a single and a run scored, while Danika Phillips came through with a double and a single on the day. Lidia Kelsey and Brianna Swartzbaugh each singled as well.
