The Edwards County Volleyball squad made short work of the Eagles from Saline County Monday night.

The Lions racked up an astounding 97 digs, 44 assists and 44 kills after downing Eldorado in just two sets. Edwards County put the match beyond doubt early, defeating the Black Diamond Conference foe by a 25–11, 25–22 margin.

Senior Caelyn Nelson put up a team-best 30 digs to compliment her two kills and two assists. Meredith Gillard registered 13 kills, 12 digs, three aces and a block. Lexie Hill led the team in blocks with three, also accounting for four kills and two digs.

Senior Rachel Perkins had 16 digs, two aces and one kills to her name, with Alli Goering finishing the night with five kills, four digs, two aces and one block. Elli Marks netted six kills and six digs, while Darcy Clodfelter managed 22 assists, nine digs and two aces. Audrey Rotramel accumulated nine kills and two digs.

Amaya Lashbrook recorded 20 assists, seven digs and one ace in the victory.

Ava Greathouse contributed six digs to the Lions cause, while Hannah Taylor put up four kills and three digs.

In junior varsity action, the Lady Lions blasted Eldorado; 25–15, 25–11.
